Budget Adopted at Bristol Town Meeting in Record Time
Bristol voters approved a total budget of $4,068,656.27 with operating at $3,606,287, debt and interest at $347,471.27, and capital outlay $71,898. Of the capital outlay, $44,398 comes from taxes and $27,500 by borrowing. Water service for Cedarcrest area will be funded $21,000 by borrowing. Tax rate is projected to rise from $43.10 to about $51.65 per thousand. Attendance reached 368 of 6,123 eligible.
