Audubon Rhode Island Field Day at Kimball Sanctuary
The Audubon Society of Rhode Island hosts a field day tomorrow at Kimball Bird Sanctuary off Past Road. Speakers begin at 2 pm as bird watchers aim for a larger turnout after last year’s forest fire cancellation. In recent days 27 birds were listed in under an hour and organizers expect about 40 species. The grounds are improved and a new water system is in place with a yellow sign on Post Road guiding visitors.
