Fire threatens two story house on Lincoln Avenue
Fire of undetermined origin in Bristol this morning threatened the two story residence of Mrs Annie J Bottomley at 15 Lincoln Avenue. Four volunteer units under Chief Fred Guevremont battled the blaze starting in the first floor kitchen. Damages occurred to the first floor tenement rented by Mr and Mrs George Moore and family while Mrs Bottomley and her family were home.

Frances Durand a six year old girl from Chilton Street was struck by a car driven by Michael Pasquarelli of Catherine Street on Wood Street near St Marys Parish School.
