American Legion Auxiliary Meets in Kearney with Poppy Plans
The American Legion Auxiliary Kearney Unit 6 held a semi monthly meeting at G A R Hall with many members present. Poppy sales are planned for May 28 and 29. A talk on The Poppy by Judge Edward L Leahy drew interest. The group will attend the Traveling Loving Cup presentation in Anthony on June 2 and a banquet for National Commander John R McQuigg on May 25 at the Biltmore Hotel.
