Bristol Train of Artillery Holds Annual Inspection
The Bristol Train of Artillery conducted its annual inspection at the State Street armory on Wednesday night. Adjt. Gen. Arthur C. Cole and Quartermaster Gen. Horace Manchester led the review of personnel and equipment under Maj. Fred M Straight. Companies A B and C were led by Captains McGinn Lemaire and Merriman respectively. Col. Cheesman and staff accompanied the inspection covering marching, arms, guard duties and guard mount. Manchester inspected State property and Fred E. Suzman presented Col. Cheesman with a framed portrait as a surprise gift. A smoker followed the formal proceedings.

Arbor Day Exercises At Public Schools Include Reading and Honor Awards
Arbor Day programs in public schools featured readings and certificates. Miss Colt Injured in Horse Accident on Colt Drive
Betty Colt daughter of Roswell C Colt of New York suffered a fracture of the right leg between knee and ankle when her horse stumbled on Colt Drive Monday afternoon. Dr William F. Duffy attended her, she was taken to Providence for X rays, Dr Murray Danforth reduced the fracture, and she is resting as comfortably as can be expected at Mrs Andrew W. Anthony’s residence.

Coroner's Inquest Opened Over Mt Hope Fire Death
Coroner Albert A. Edmonds opened an inquest at 10 AM in his office on Hope street into the death of Carlo Vaccaro an 18 month old who burned in the Mt Hope and DeWolf fire tenement April 24. Illicit still found in the house cited by police and firemen witnesses named include Shulman Gallo Dwyer Pacheo Balzano Sylvia Trask Sullivan. The inquest is expected to continue today and tomorrow.

City Manager Movement Talk Set at Brotherhood Meeting
