Women’s Club fashion show draws 350 attendees at Midway

About 350 people attended the Women's Club fashion show at the Midway on a Wednesday night, praised as a great success by general chairman Mrs. Charles Tappero. Arlene Booth of Fall River staged the event to benefit a scholarship fund. Models included Mrs. Raymond Walker and several others, with commentary by Mrs. Andrew Roth and music by Earl Rounds. Refreshments followed, served by club members and junior helpers.

Dominick DiMauro to Receive Student Citizenship Award

Dominick DiMauro of this town will receive the Student Citizenship award at the commencement exercises of Ashville Biltmore College in Ashville North Carolina on June 1. The award honors his activities beneficial to the college including serving as freshman class president and Student Council member, business manager of The Summit, and roles in International Relations Vets Spanish clubs and Student Union. He will be initiated into Delta Psi Omega on May 22.
