Death of Col Charles A Greene Prominent Publisher
Col Charles A Greene died at his Bristol home on Sunday morning at 15 o clock in his 77th year after a long illness. He was editor and proprietor of the Bristol Phenix for 31 years and held many state and local offices including Bristol county sheriff and town council member. The funeral was held today at 1 PM with Masons, Artillery, and relatives in attendance, burial at North Cemetery.
