Rev Charles C Curran treasurer reports the St Marys Parish Catholic Charity Fund total at 2618 dollars with a partial list of donors giving 10 dollars or more. The list includes Robert J Connery 100 dollars and families such as Scanlon, Connell, Serbst, Cantwell, Horton and many others with 15 and 10 dollar gifts noted.
The town council voted to ask the State Public Utilities Administrator to allow a council representative to attend any conferences with Collins & Aikman Corp or Bristol County Water Co about extra water supply. A taxi stand request at State and Hope was protested as busy. The council agreed to repair a police cruiser under $300 and consider evergreen tubs on Hope Street with Parks committee.
