Bristol Town Council Defers Contracts and Zoning Appeal
Town Council behind closed doors defers award of road oil contracts and the Manuel Viera zoning petition to reclassify his Hope and Tupelo street property as business district. Open session earlier heard Viera describe his dhourice factory plan and warned taxes would fall if district change proceeds. The council also appointed Earl P. Mathewson to the Planning Board to succeed ill health chair Arthur Carr.
