Bristol Fire Chief Coggeshall to Be Honored at Ball
Bristol's oldest living firefighter Daniel G. Coggeshall will be honored at the second annual Firemen's Ball hosted by four local volunteer companies at the Bristol Casino next Friday. Coggeshall joined the Hydraulion Engine and Hose Company in 1881 and later became Bristol fire chief in 1909, serving until 1914, with a long record in the New England Veteran Firemen's League and as treasurer of the Hydraulions since 1925. Approximately 150 reservations have been made for the event with Governor J Howard McGrath among the expected guests.

The Netopian Society of the First Congregational Church elected Mrs Harry Kebrek as president at the annual meeting in Guiteras House on Wednesday night.
