The U S S Bristol a Newport based destroyer will visit Bristol Providence Fall River and nearby ports May 17 to 20 for Armed Forces Day open house events May 18 and 19. Women To Entertain Girls At Bristol High Dinner
Fifty two senior girls from Bristol Senior High School will be guests of the Women's Club for a community dinner at the Midway next Tuesday at 6 30 p m. Mrs Minot J Crowell extension chairwoman Rhode Island Federation of Women's Clubs will speak and the girls will perform a musical program directed by Doris Bullock dean of women. Thomas Balzano will supply a school bus for transport to and from the Midway. The girls meet at the high school at 6 p m and the planning committee is chaired by Mrs Joseph G A Riccio with members listed if needed. Officers for the coming year will be elected and installed.
