Body Of Missing Sailor Found Afloat In Harbor
A decomposed body identified as Michael Murphy deckhand on the lighthouse tender Pansy was found floating in Bristol harbor by William and Fred Shepard, about 25 yards west of their oyster dock. Murphy had been missing since Feb 24 and was 46. The Medical Examiner ruled accidental drowning and burial was arranged.

Youth injured in bicycle crash on Hope street
Charles Cabral aged 11 of 914 Roma street suffered a severe laceration to his left cheek Friday afternoon when thrown from a bicycle that crashed into a parked car on Hope street. The bike, operated by James Travers of 14 Roma street, led to Cabral being taken to Dr John R Bernardo who sutured the wound with four stitches.
