John J Christie died in Phoenix on April 22. His funeral was held yesterday at 9:80 at his aunt Miss Annie Christie’s home and at 10 o'clock at St Mary’s church. The service featured a solemn high mass with Rev John F Downing and church music including Ave Maria Lead Kindly Light Nearer My God to Thee. tears were seen among mourners.

Fatal Fall Claims Miss Mary Brinley in Bristol
Miss Mary Brinley aged resident of the house north of G A R Hall on Hope street fell from attic to second floor yesterday at 8. She suffered a severe scalp wound and collapsed. Doctors W Fred Williams R B Church and A M Merriman attended. She died at 4 this morning from the shock. Her sister Maud Brinley lived with her.

The Young Peoples Society of Christian Endeavor hosted a successful program at the chapel on Tuesday night with readings dialogues songs and a piano solo followed by an ice cream cake and fancy article sale. Tables were run by Helen Waldron Lavinia Connery Celia Hill and others and Harriet Gray served as cashier. A vendor praised DeWitts Kidney and Bladder Pills sold by W A Buffington with several attendees reporting good results.
