Postmaster William M. Gorham received Washington’s notice appointing Charles C. Duffy as substitute letter carrier in the Bristol post office. Duffy, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Duffy, is known as a basketball forward for the Bristol Y M C A team and took the civil service exam on June 11, 1902.
