Pyramids of Charity Women Plan May 9 Bridge for Charity
The Pyramids of Charity Women’s Club announced a May 9 bridge as the year’s first program in BTA Hall after their January meeting. Proceeds will fund tenilectomies for needy town children. Club president Mrs Domenic Vitello received a gavel gift from Otis M. Bailey and a gar denia corsage from secretary Mrs Joseph Cavallaro.

Will Name Committee To Fill Pastor Vacancy
The Rev. Charles R. Cooley was authorized to select a committee to choose his successor at a special church meeting in De Wolf Memorial Chapel. The panel will include church organization reps and five members at large. Cooley’s resignation takes effect April 23 when he becomes pastor in Chicago. Dr Russell S Bray was elected vice moderator. An extra 5,500 was approved for repairs, bringing the total renovation budget to 23,000.

Frank Eugene Trask longtime Hydraulion Hose Company foreman and devoted volunteer died Wednesday at St Josephs Hospital after two operations. Born July 28 1890 in Barrington he moved to Bristol around 1915 and served as a projectionist and theatre custodian. Survived by wife Josephine and children Sarah Lillian Rosemary Victor and Frank Jr plus 16 grandchildren. Funeral Friday at 2 pm from C M Connery Funeral Home burial in North Cemetery.
