Designers awarded armory project for Creer town
Creer Kent Cruise and Aldrich Providence architects won the contract to design the National Guard Armory to house Battery C 248th AAA Battalion. Gen John M McGreevy announced the award, with final drafting today and a contract sign on Tuesday. Construction will not start for about six months, the armory will sit on state property near the Rhode Island Veterans Home, south of McKenzie Drive.
