R S Bosworth Jr was named chairman Manuel Sousa vice chairman and Rose Mary Falugo secretary. A series of public hearings will explore charter reform with first hearing at Cot School on April 14 and a second on April 21 with town committees and the League of Women Voters noted.
John P. Ligierot charges Bristol Town Council with disenfranchising Portuguese Americans by not reappointing him to the Zoning Board of Review and replacing him with another member. He calls for separating the Town Engineer and building inspector roles and urges Democrats to restore a two party system.
