The funeral service for Joseph Pivin, 70, of 725 Hope Street, was held from his home Wednesday morning at 8 15. A solemn high Mass of requiem followed at 9 o'clock in St. Marys Church conducted by the Rev. plastered.
The assistant pastor and deacons from this town and Warren bearers attended the funeral. LeRoy Dun, Alfred Beauvais, Wilfrid Pion, and Arthur Sampson from this town along with Napoleon Gauthier and Wilfred Jeffery of Warren carried the casket. Burial followed at St. John’s Cemetery in Warren with Father Smith reading the committal.
Sealed proposals for garbage collection in Bristol are due by 4 pm on Tuesday April 3 1948.
