Four Dollars Per Man Boost Hoped From Woolen Trade
Bristol textile plant leaders report that after the Reciprocal Trade Treaty the first January shows woolen fabric imports up nearly threefold and worsted fabrics up nearly twofold. Continental Mills president Millard Brown argues if imports were produced domestically, 150000 workers would gain four dollars each in wages. He cites government actions as worsening unemployment while urging relief.
