Ezra Dixon one of Bristol’s leading citizens dies at home 42 High Street in his 87th year after illness. He was a charter member of Bab bit Post No 15 G A R and held numerous local posts. Dixon chaired the Dison Labreate Saddle Company and served as director of Industrial Trust Co. He also chaired Rogers Free Library trustees and aided State Street Methodist Church. Born Spencer Massachusetts December 12 1849 he leaves a legacy in industry banking and civic service.
