Drug poster winners named at local contest
Winners of the drug abuse poster contest were announced Monday night. Joe Ridling Timothy LaFazia 6th grade Jessica Cabral and Beth Peloquin 7th grade earned prizes. Posters and trophies will be displayed at Rogers Free Library. Plans for AC Almeida Ladies Auxiliary visit to the VA Hospital in Providence were completed at a March 8 meeting at the Post Home. The visit will take place March 28 at 6 30 pm. Chairwoman Emily Carmone was chosen to handle a future cake sale. Mrs John Payao will chair the blood drive at the Post Home on April 8, working with Anthony Desmair.
