Bristol Town Finances Pass Budget With Water Works Talks
The Bristol town meeting last night approved appropriations totaling 1,170.90 plus plans for macadamizing Main Road and funding for medical inspection in schools, while Col. Colt offered to sell the Bristol and Warren Water Works. A committee including Ezra Dixon and James Church was named to confer with Warren and the Water Works for possible purchase or better service, with authority to seek enabling legislation. A milk inspector and sewer costs were also discussed as the session adjourned.
