Bristol Town Election Sets Sharp Council Contest
Judge Frank H. Hammill narrowly defeated James O. Church for First Councilman by 18 votes while Charles 8 Cummings beat Edward Wilkinson by the same margin for Second Councilman. Winthrop Thurston won Fourth Councilman by 417 over James Walsh. Simmons and Church names appear with mixed results in other races. Probate Judge Hammill 810 votes and Town Treasurer Peck 1122.
