The bi monthly Bristol Safety Council meeting will be at chairman Stanley F Friswell’s home on Ferry road at 8 pm Thursday. Mr S P Coblentz of the Pennsylvania Petroleum Products Co will address members and show safety films. He also plans to screen an exclusive uncensored Sino Japanese conflict film. Other attending safety figures include G Wise Westcott, Carlos Wright, and Norman Chace. The session, organized by Friswell with Arthur Carr and Norton McZinderstein, aims to be highly engaging and invites each member to bring a safety minded guest.

Tuneful melodies from the old sod mix with jigs and dances and popular American tunes in a St Mary's parochial school minstrel program. Seventy-five students in old Ireland dress perform with Albert Byrnes as interlocutor and Eugene Ferreira as page. Mrs Frank L. Doran, Mrs Annie Farley, and Miss Regina Farley design scenery and costumes.
