Harmonious town meeting approves budget and sewer study

In two hours Bristol's town meeting approved 921,643 in appropriations and adopted Council recommendations. It preserved the Town Asylum, funded the Town Farm under oversight, and sent sewer plans for Prospect Street to the Sewer Commission with bonds up to 35,000 for study and an Eastern system.
