Editor Denies Phoenix Ties to Circulars Upholding Sidewalks
The Phoenix editor proves no involvement with yesterday's Republican Town Committee circulars as he has been ill at home. He opposes the circulating claims and supports continuing sidewalk improvements, noting prior funding raised the quality of High Street and Thames Street paths. The piece endorses maintaining or increasing funding, including 1500 for John Post Reynolds school surrounds and 3000 for general sidewalks.
