A St Marys Church benefit bridge event hosted by Miss Dorothy Bowater at her Fairway Drive Barrington home drew about 60 guests. An Hawaiian string quartet provided music while refreshments were served by Bowater with aides from Warren Stoniington Conn and Alice Nimmons. Prizes went to Nellie Demers Nora Dwyer Anna Hughes Marguerite Walsh Eloise Dunbar Finleen Pierce Alice Vermette Catherine Fay Helen Sweeney Helen Byrnes Thomas Foley Mary Corey Laura Martell John McKenna Margaret McCallum and Frank Bowater.
