Ten candidates tested for substitute clerk and carrier positions at Bristol Post Office Saturday morning in Colt Memorial High School. Due to Secretary Duffy’s illness, Assistant Secretary McCarty led the exam with Michael J. Coughlan assisting. Papers were sent to the Boston bureau. results will be announced in three weeks, says Postmaster Warren.
