Town Council Meeting Reports Street and Property Changes
The Town Council reviewed a commission plan for widening Thames Street and relocating railroad tracks north of Franklin Street. The plan, prepared by Lockwood, Greene firm engineer G M Thomson, was placed on exhibit while the council reviews objections over track relocation funding. Health official Magee submitted annual reports noting sewer improvements, irregular garbage collection, prior smallpox quarantines, and vaccination efforts.
