District IV Girl Scout cookie sale chairman named
Mrs. Mario Primiano will lead the District IV cookie sale March 7 to 18 overseeing 71 Senior and Intermediate troops across 10 Mt Hope area neighborhoods in Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts. Assisting is Mrs. Charles Hodgson in Bristol. The sale funds activities and camps, with 16,796 girls and 2,834 adults in the Council.

William H Dubois named manager of Narragansett Electric Company Warren district covering Barrington Bristol Tiverton and Little Compton. A University of New Hampshire and Harvard Business School alumnus he joined Narragansett via United Electric Railways in 1934 and has held multiple roles in sales engineering and statistics. He served three and a half years in the U S Army becoming a Major in the Army Reserves and is active with the Providence engineering society Rotary Club Boy Scouts and United Fund. He and wife Olga E Schanmuller have a 16 year old son and own a 50 acre tree farm in Gloucester Rhode Island, with plans to reside in Bristol.
