Playgrounds Opened With High Registration
The town reported strong turnout at its four playgrounds with 379 registrations across Common, Rockwell Park, Sowams Drive, and Veterans' Memorial Park. High participation credited to new equipment and good weather as supervisors completed a combined leadership training in Providence. Joseph Murgo to cover Rockwell and Sowams mornings and afternoons respectively. Miss Patricia King offered for roving swimming instructions with a described schedule for beginners to advanced swimmers under Vincent Securo and Barbara Balzano.

Mrs Barnes Newberry Jr was unanimously elected president of the Bristol District Nursing Association to fill the unexpired term of Dr Samuel D Clark at a special meeting last night. Night Before Fourth Dances Planned By Local Groups
