Field Day Held by Bristol County Ham Radio Men
Twenty members of the Bristol County Radio Ass'n conducted a 24 hour field day over the weekend under simulated emergency conditions. Power came from gasoline generators as two transmitters operated on low bands and a third on very high frequency. The exercise highlighted the dams' value in a communications blackout during emergencies. Photos by a club member show members at work and in rest.
