Town Board appoints Murgo as town engineer in $8000 post
The Bristol Town Council last night named Joseph A Murgo to the $8 000 town engineer position effective Monday after his resignation as council president He would leave his vacancy to be filled at a future meeting likely before July 4 Mrs Vasta L Ruggiero received the Women’s Democratic Club endorsement for the number one seat and the Fourth of July committee asked for the president to deliver the welcome at patriotic exercises The council authorized Deputy Town Clerk appointment and addressed complaints about fires at the town dump.
