Miss Beatrice E Mullaney niece of Mr and Mrs Charles Connery and John S OConnor of Wood Street married at St Marys Church in a 9 am ceremony. Rev Michael L Ryan officiated with Nora Connery singing Ave Maria. The couple plans a trip to New York and Buffalo then will reside at Dunbar Avenue.
Mary Miserandino and John Raponi wed at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Barrington. The ceremony was conducted by Rev Emilio Donanzan with the couple given in marriage by her brother.
Frank Miserandino and the bride exchanged vows as she wore a white satin gown with chiffon over taffeta and an il lusion veil. Attendants included George Wood and a sister in pink taffeta. Dora Iannucculo played the organ, Joseph La Fazia sang, and a reception followed at the bride’s home. They plan to reside at 53 Maple Avenue, Barrington, after a New York trip. The bride attended local schools. the groom, Peck High School graduate and World War II veteran.
The bride wore a brocaded nylon gown with an off the shoulder effect on a train and a long illusion veil. She carried white roses and an orchid. Maid of honor Delinda Viveiros wore white jersey with net bottom and fuschia accents, carrying red roses. Pasquale Grimo served as best man. A dinner and reception followed at the Colonial Hotel, then a motor trip to New York and New Hampshire. The couple will reside at 4 Asher Street.
The Common playground directed by Anthony E. Agatiello and Vincent J. Santo opened for the season with a record turnout of children. Swings, see-saws, horse shoe pits, volleyball area, and merry go round are in operation. Two new chutes repaired by Bristol Senior High School under Hector F. Bellavance will be set up today. YMCA facilities are available for child registrations to determine age groups and preferred games or sports.
Bristol man Lt. (jg) A. P. Ayres, 38 Bay View Avenue, serves aboard the USS Blue Ridge, an amphibious command ship that will participate in atomic bomb tests at Bikini Atoll. The ship will carry observers during the tests.

The bride wore lace and marquisette with Juliet cap, bouquet of white roses and orchid center. matron of honor Mrs Julia Rebello wore blue lace and marquisette. Roland Rebello served as best man. reception followed at Lobster Claw then trip through Maine and New Hampshire. They will live at 13 Anthony Avenue upon return.

The Bristol Senior High School class held a Friday night reception in the auditorium to celebrate the end of Commencement week. Officers led the grand march with Arthur R Torrey and Miss Mary Oliver at the forefront and a long list of officers and patronesses.
