Santa W. Matrone Bristol Senior High School class president won two top honors the Athletic Trophy for team spirit and sportsmanship and the Thomas Brightman Medal for loyalty cooperation and service. He led the baseball team to a runner up in the Eastern Division of the Rhode Island Inter-Scholastic League and starred on the basketball squad. Elks Expect 1500 at Sunday Home Dedication
More than 1500 Elks and guests from Massachusetts Connecticut and Rhode Island are slated to attend the new lodge home dedication in North Kingstown Rhode Island Sunday. A parade of 10 bands will begin at 1 35 p m at Constitution Street and proceed through streets including High Bradford and Hope ending at the new Elks home. The Providence contingent will be led by Miss Rhode Island and a speaking program will feature William E Powers Rhode Island attorney general as the main speaker.
