Unique Transportation Party at Bristol Yacht Club

The Bristol Yacht Club hosts a no cars transportation party opening the summer season. Bristol Leader Writes to Gzhatsk in Write Russia Campaign

Four Dances Raise The Y For Fourth of July Fund

MCA and the Fourth of July Committee held their final dance at the Y to aid the Fourth of July Fund. The series raised 65 from prior dances, 12 last evening, 18 from the orchestra, 3 from Officer Ralph Stanzisne, and 2 from a generous friend, bringing the total to 100. The orchestra roster includes Charles Alfred, Anthony Ascoli, Robert Dubuc, Herrman Wilbur, James Martin, George Pinhero, and Edward Migliori.

Russian Clothing Campaign Opens in Town

On the first day of a six day drive Russian War Relief collected a variety of garments at 473 Hope Street including fur coats sweaters coats woolen pajamas bathrobes and shoes. Attendants Mrs Betty Chase and volunteers prepared items for shipment while some unsuitable pieces were set aside.

Meeting Called for All Graduate Nurses

An important meeting for all graduate nurses in town is set for Wednesday evening June 23 at 7 30 in Rockwell House. State Nursing Deputy Winifred L Fitzpatrick and assistant Mrs K Tracy will discuss Nursing Participation in Emergency Medical Service.
