Mount Carmel Celebration Curtailed By Council Report
Mount Carmel festivities will be trimmed this year with no fireworks, due to conditions in Europe and concerns over jets and safety. Councilman James J. Velleca announced the change after a petition to ban bombs on Callan Jets and discussed other town matters including licensing, street work, and a fireworks sale window.
