Bristol Train of Artillery Anniversary Banquet
An 18th century style celebration marked the charter anniversary of the Bristol Train of Artillery held Saturday evening at the Belvedere Hotel. Amos Obecaman commanded the unit. officers from Related artillery groups attended with Ex Governor Augustus O Bourn and Senator Ezra Dixon among the guests. The dinner featured a long display of banners and a monogrammed centerpiece while the Hotel Orchestra played as the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Boston and allied units gathered for toasts and speeches on duty, coast guard, and patriotism.
