Pupils of Gutteras Memorial School staged a two act musical comedy Love Pirates of Hawaii last night in Gutteras auditorium. Under Mrs Theresa Donovan supervision the performance drew a large audience and will be repeated tonight. Dorothy Dear was played by Mary DeFelice with noted support from Doris MacDonald and Harold McGuigan as Billy Wood. The plot centers on a letter mix up and a pirate coda with real pirates led by Bertram Bullock. The show drew strong praise for scenery costumes and acting.
