Gaspee Days mark 197th anniversary in Warwick
Fourth annual Gaspee Days festival spans Friday to Sunday with a band concert, memorial service, parade, colonial ball, power boat races, and clambake in Pawtuxet Warwick. A Lakeside Home service for emotionally disturbed children is planned as state welfare shelters assume care July 1. Local folk music events include Newport summer concerts and notable performers.
