The Rose of Tokio shines at Pastime Theatre night

Bristol Council Knights of Columbus No. 379 presents The Rose of Tokio a musical comedy at Pastime Theatre. Miss M Theresa Sullivan supervises music with a large cast including James Prherce Frederick Vera Miss Bessie Pierce Nora Dwyer and many others in ensemble songs and dances. James F Meiggs chairs arrangements and Neva L Atherton directs.

White Cross Quartet Performs Evening of Song in Vestry

The White Cross Quartet of Providence with Low A Dussault presented an entertainment in the vestry of State Street MF Church last evening under the Epworth League. The program featured Mendelssohn Spring Song and various solos, duets, readings, and a final quartet, with accompanying pianist Frank F Streeter.

Plans for July Fourth Trade Parade Registration

The Fourth of July Committee sub committee met in the Burnside Memorial building to map the trades procession for Independence Day. Members were assigned merchant interviews to secure participation and a $2 entry fee was set to fund a band leading the 4 PM parade.

Colts Win Two Games On The Common

Colt high defeated St Raphael of Pawtucket 18 to 7 with six runs in the eighth inning on the common. Baian Cuzzo collected four hits in six at bats as Colt high rolled 14 hits. Colt high edged Central Falls high 6 to 5 with six runs in the seventh inning to erase a four run lead. Cunningham allowed five hits as Gorham pitched well after the third inning. Colt high was set to play Cumberland high at Cumberland this afternoon.
