Crest Yacht Delivered For Regatta Run from Bristol
A steamboat yacht Crest built at Mr boat works was transported by rail to Springfield Massachusetts for a regatta use. The Hartford Post notes Herréshoff's Crest from Bristol was routed via this city to Lyme and Bristol with Deming aiding surveyors during the voyage. A sailboat capsized near the harbor last Sunday leaving one man ill and others assisted by locals. Belts from the National Rubber Company shipped to St Louis include a 259 foot by 38 inch belt weighing one ton. A correction notes plastering at St Michael's Church involved only a cornice fragment. Muscle Bed Shoals fixed red light now active with lens details and fog bell operation.
