Fires destroy shack and damage garage on Saturday

Bristol Drum Corps Dominate Warren Contest With Seven Firsts
Two Bristol drum corps swept seven first prizes at the New England Drum and Bugle Corps competition in Warren. The Bristol Boy Scout Bugle and Drum Corps and the Bristol Rangers Drum and Bugle Corps led twenty entries from Connecticut Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with the Scouts earning four firsts and the Rangers three. A parade from Warren High School to Jamies Park preceded the contests, and prizes were awarded after the event. The Rangers will host the Rhode Island Fifers Drummers and Buglers field day at Guiteras Field on September 9 1951.
