Letter from Capt Turner to the Phenix editor
Captain Turner writes to praise the paper for accurately presenting and explaining his bill. He notes he refused to withdraw the bill, re presenting it to the Council, and recalls a town meeting resolution from 1898 about joint committee practices. He expects a special town meeting soon and cites unsatisfied street light and dirt removal requests near Horace Peck estate, asking why actions were delayed. Bristol R. I. July 22 08.
