Drum Corps Win More Prizes In North Bridge Contest
The Bugle and Drum Corps of the local Boy Scouts won three more prizes at a North Bridge Massachusetts competition Sunday. Norman Rene topped drum majors with 99. the Corps won the appearance prize with 99.03. they placed second in playing to the Warren Indians by four hundredths. State champions St Marys Fife and Drum Corps of East Hartford edged Bristol Scouts for grand prize with 294.46. Bristol scored 294.36. Corps practice at Scout Hall tonight at 7 as next month’s schedule is set.
