Italian residents plan a multi event Mount Carmel feast starting Tuesday with illumination on Wood street and a Capone band concert. A parade led by Capone's Band through town precedes a high mass at St Marys Church. The day features a greased pole contest, prizes, a balloon ascent, fireworks, and several concerts and a ball game between local teams.

Michael Loughman died Wednesday afternoon at his home on Bradford Street after a long illness caused by pulmonary tuberculosis. Born in Ireland, he came to this country years ago, son of William and Ellen Loughman. He leaves three sisters Ellen, Bridget Loughman, and Mrs. John Brown. Funeral from his residence at 8:30 to St Marys Church for a requiem mass by Rev. John I. Downing, with interment in St Marys Cemetery.

Mrs Christina Cameron Anderson wife of Joseph Anderson died Tuesday afternoon at her North Farm Half Mile Hill home after months of illness from a complication of diseases. Aged 49 she was born in Scotland and had resided here for years. Besides her husband she leaves two sons and a daughter. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
