National India Rubber annual clambake set at Leahy Farm
The Accounting Department of the National India Rubber Company will hold its third annual clambake tomorrow at Leahy Farm. A chowder lunch is at 12 30 p.m. followed by the bake at 3 o'clock. The event features a sports program for department members and friends. The arranging committee includes J J Velleca W J Crowley Paul Gardner F Garvin and others.

Warren Post hands Bristol first setback at Burr's Hill Park
The Warren Post beat the Bristol Legionaires 6 to 0 at Burr's Hill Park last night. Warren scored once in the first, second, third, and fifth innings and twice in the sixth while committing only two errors and totaling seven hits. McCanna pitched for Warren with ten strikeouts, Marsden had four for Bristol, and Lavarie and Polak led Warren’s offense while Mello led Bristol. The clubs meet again next Monday on the Common at 6 15 PM.
