Fireworks to cap Italian Feast at Mt Carmel celebration
A two day Feast of Mt Carmel planned by the Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church features a major fireworks display on July 17 at 10 30 p m on Callan lots Franklin Street. About $400 will be spent with rival firms hoping for a bonus. Other events include parades band concerts doll carriage parade bicycle race and amateur show with prizes. Bazaar proceeds support the celebration fund and entries for the doll carriage parade rise as July 17 approaches.
