Town Council Regular Monthly Meeting Notes
The Town Council held its regular meeting on Tuesday evening. It voted to notify Andrew J. Bullock to abate a nuisance at the corner of High and Burnside streets and to instruct Congregational church trustees to connect the cellar to the public sewer within ten days. Bills were examined and referred to the auditor. Grand and petit jurors were drawn, listing numerous individuals including Robert Kirkwood, Thomas Brightman, J. R. Latham, William H. Munro, Edward Quirk Jr, James Cashin, and many others.

Hydraulion Engine and Hose to Rio Rockland trip
At the Hy draulion Engine and Hose Company regular meeting plans formed for a weeklong trip to Rockland Maine Aug 13 20 to celebrate the citys incorporation. About 35 men will go with transport from Bristol to Rockland 2655 per man including travel and electric car fare. Firemen will attend muster at Crescent Park July 28 and the engine will be tested July 15 after repairs for a Providence parade July 4. One new member was elected.

The Third Annual Excelsior Tennis Club tournament begins next Monday at Silver Creek to determine county champions in men’s singles and doubles and women’s singles. Twenty-two in men’s singles, eight doubles teams, six women’s singles entries. Matches start 10 am with afternoon play at 2 pm. Court probate session updates estate cases and appraisals
At a regular probate court session Judge Reynolds continued the account of Lemuel H. Soule as administrator of Peter Erickson's estate to August 2. Erickson was lost at sea when Capt Soule's son and nephew drowned off Japan. Manchester granted as administrator for Elizabeth Fk Munro with bond eight thousand. The petition to sell Raymond H. Perry real estate was continued nisi. Accounts for Ruth A. Wardwell and O. D. Eddy estates were received with notice.
