Class of 45 Reunion Dinner Dance Set

On The Fourth Two Injuries
Despite large crowds and hot weather two injuries were reported at the police station. Mrs Willis Fogg, 53, Meriden Conn, burned on the left knee by a firecracker at about 1 30 p m. Rescue squad sent Leonard Costa 11 son of Mr and Mrs Costa 2 Wood street to Dr Holdsworth for a cut on his foot from playing in his yard at about 1 30 p m.

Battery C Receives Flags In Honor Of Anthony Nunes
Senator Anthony DaPonte presented national and state flags to Capt. Cortland Clarke of Battery C at Reynolds School on Monday. The ceremony honored the late Anthony J Nunes and his service on the Fourth of July committee and with the Portuguese American Citizens Club. A color guard carried the flags in the parade, and Battery C will take them to Camp Wellfleet, Massachusetts for two weeks of artillery training.
